React positively to fear
Can you answer the following question What do you fear right now? What scares you at the moment? Do you react positively to fear? The questions wouldn’t be hard to answer when you are passing through tough times or difficult times, most of us would want a problem just varnish but it doesn’t work that way, you need to run towards your fear, react positively to fear not run away from it, I am sharing life touching stories of men who decided to face their fears, held on to God and overcame.
The Man called Jabez
All there is to know about this man was written in the book of 1 chronicles but it is enough to know that this man had problem which brought much sorrow to his life,
1 Chronicles 4:9 And Jabez was more honorable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying Because I bare him with sorrow. this was enough to have made him fear his very existence but he didn’t let the fear made him retreat to defeat but rather it helped him react positively to fear, and he cried onto God and got what he wanted in the petition below
1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
Napoleon Hill Dramatic Experience
Hill shared an experience in his book outwitting the Devil that would have made most men reacted the same way he responded at first, Hill received a threat call after the assassination attack on the life of his associate that led to his death, Hill was made to flee the city he lived but the events that followed were according to the words of Hill, such experiences cannot be described to be understood they must be felt. While Hill was passing throughout those tough times he decided to react positively to his fear, he mentioned at that time “I had reached a decision to fight the matter out with myself before that night ended….”. Hill definitely got what he wanted.
King David Encounter
David in the bible had a terrible experience documented in 1 Samuel 30, he returned to his home and everything had been forcefully taken away including those of his followers, they cried themselves till they had no more power to cry, they turned against David and stoned him making it much worse but he did something remarkable, he did react positively to fear by inquiring of the Lord and he got his solution.
Fear is part of life usually associated with certain problems or challenges but when they come they don’t just go away as much you want them to, you have to react positively to the fear and work on the source of the problem. It is well in Jesus name.
